AJAX can produce almost all our product range to comply with the ATEX requirements for equipment operating in areas classified as Zone 1/21 or Zone 2/22. And equipment with a zone 0/20 internal atmosphere. We combine preventative measures and monitoring to ensure that the required level of protection is incorporated in our equipment.

Preventative Measures Include:

Earthing across all flanged joints.
Limiting the velocity of moving parts.
Selection of materials.
Facilitating inert gas blanketing.
Design for containment in conjunction with explosion vents.
